Twiggy Art

Here is a little imaginary dwelling I built in Central Park today. It reminds me of a beaver dam. I used twigs and sticks that I gathered in my beach bucket from the area directly around the bench. The inspiration for these sculptures comes from the miniature imaginary homes I built on a rock behind my house as a kid. Kah Leong once shot a model on this same bench, though I didn't know it till I showed him the picture.
If you want to look for it, it's off a pathway just below Belvedere Castle.

Oh, I do remember my little girl out in the back yard enjoying that wonderful huge mossy rock with a natural shelf for sitting on. Or for construction of twiggy houses, I suppose...
