R. Crumb, the most famous underground comic book artist EVER has just published his illustrated edition of the book of Genesis!!!
Can you believe it? His artwork is usually completely insane, it's cool to
see someone with such an unpredictable imagination use his forces for something so GOOD! From the interview I learned that he doesn't believe the book is true but he still feels the stories are very powerful.
The 201 pages are about to go on display at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, followed by a tour that will include New York City.

well, it's a pretty racy version of genesis if you keep reading. As we all know there's plenty of fodder in the good book for an artist like this to run wild. And he does.

That's what happens if you take everything that's in Genesis and put it on the page. I'm glad someone's doing it.
On an unrelated subject, have you checked out the graphic novelization of "Pride & Prejudice" (by Butler & Petrus)? Its pretty good - although when asked i said it was for my wife. Thanks for the DVD and comic by the way, you are just a great visual storyteller.
