I'm so happy about Peter Pezzimenti's first one man show that's up right now at Monya Rowe gallery (526 West 26th St. #605). The pieces are made of painted wood blocks and black cardboard. Each one is a little riddle of color. Up close you can see blobs of glue from his gluegun oozing through and you start to feel his sense of humor. The press release is an incredible web of artspeak but seems to miss out on the simplicity of the moments Pete has caught here. Head on over if you can! Show is up till June 21. Peter is also a very talented musician by the way. . .

Hi Annie, I love you!
Ignorant art request: ellaborate on how you can see his sense of humor through the art.
Hope you're doing well!
