Coney Island

My husband went out and did a photo shoot of Coney Island the other day, he captured this classic image of the mysterious red tower we all love. My guess is that it was once a ride where the swings would take a freefall drop from the top.
Coney island is soon to be renovated by the city of New York and such desolate and haunting images as this could soon be a thing of the past.

I have to apologize for being gone so long. A lot of sands were shifting inside of me and I wasn't feeling objective enough to post. But I'm back and bringing a new bag of goodies with me from my journeyings! So I hope some of you who felt abandoned will return and the new people will have the faith to check back now and then.

We're here not just for "your lovely" you but for "your artsy" you, too. Bring it on, dear Annie!

PS My girls and I were checking out your blog more often that you think... Your contribution to our basic (daily) dose of arts is very important to our life's routine. One more time, we're very glad you're back. :)
