This year's Renegade Craft fair was held in the McCarren Park swimming pool and blazes it was hot! My search for treasure turned up a couple of gems amidst the mountains of ironic dollies and silkscreened T-shirts. I came away with this handpainted mask by artist Brooklyn artist Jamison Brosseau. It was a toss up between it and my favorite item at the Fred Flare booth, the Mushroom Timer! Also a sweet surprise were the marshmallows with chocolatie words silkscreened straight on. Silkscreening on food? Well I never!
